Missions Ministry

Why missions? Matthew 28:18-20 says it all.

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

That’s the bottom line for the reason why we at Hope Chapel are passionate about missions. We support both long-term and short-term missions, sending our members to mission fields including Peru, Thailand, and China.

We consider our local community to be a very important mission field as well. Members have been continuously serving at Agape House every month for the past eight years, including holding Vacation Bible School during the summer months. Furthermore, we work with our parent church, the Korean Presbyterian Church of Baltimore, to care for our senior citizens.

If you have a desire to serve in this ministry, have a skill to share, or just have questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Missions Deacon Jae Lee: info.missions@hopechapelmd.com
