Under the leadership of the Education Pastor, Pastor Dae Jeong, the Education Ministry is committed to teaching our congregation the holy, life-giving word of God, in order to help our church disciple its own members and ultimately the nations. The Education Ministry’s theme verse come from the lips of our Lord and reveal his concern that abiding in his word and knowing its truth be the mark of true discipleship and the pathway to true liberation:

“So Jesus said…, ‘If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.’” John 8:31-32

So, in prayerful dependence upon God’s Spirit, the Education Ministry aims to do all that it can to promote discipleship that is begotten, grown and sustained by the God-centered, Christ-exalting teaching of his Word, the Bible, all to his glory.

Note: The teaching ministry begins at the pulpit. While there is more to preaching than mere teaching, preaching is certainly dependent upon it. The ministry of our pastors from the pulpit, therefore, is to set the tone for all teaching that takes place beyond the pulpit.
