The congregation of Hope Chapel consists of families and their children, young adults, and college students. The majority of our congregation currently falls between the ages of 18 to 35.
Where are you located?
Hope Chapel is located in Lutherville, Maryland which is just north of Baltimore City. The location is easily accessible for residents of Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Harford County and Howard County. Our address is 1600 W. Seminary Ave, Lutherville, MD 21093. Yes. Hope Chapel is an active member of the North American Presbytery of the Korean American Presbyterian Church (KAPC) denomination which is similar in polity and beliefs to the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA).
Is Hope Chapel only for Asian Americans?
NO! Hope Chapel welcomes everyone in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join us in His service and fellowship. We have members and pastoral staff who do not come from an Asian background and who are productive and valued leaders in our ministry.
What is Hope Chapel’s style of worship?
Our worship combines both “traditional” and “contemporary” styles of worship.
From a musical standpoint, we sing both traditional hymns as well as more modern praise songs. Our worship team routinely uses electric keyboards, guitars, drums, as well as the piano and violin. Hope Chapel also has a traditional choir which lifts the hearts of our congregation during the service.
Notwithstanding our musical style, as our priority, Hope Chapel prizes the purity, clarity, depth, and total sufficiency of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as found in the Bible, the inerrant Word of God. As such, faithful preaching and teaching of God’s Word is central to our worship. We also recognize the historic tradition of our faith through the Apostles Creed and Benediction.

Where would I fit in at Hope Chapel?
Hope Chapel provides several ministries designed for people at every stage of life. These include our Couples, Young Adult, and College groups. Each of these groups have regular Bible studies and activities where you can develop true Christian fellowship with brothers and sisters in your own peer group.
Additionally, to foster true Christian fellowship and spiritual development we strongly encourage you (and our congregation) to be plugged into a small group located in your geographical area, regardless of your current stage in life. See our Small Group page for more information.
Members have a further opportunity to serve in our various ministries. Opportunities to serve can come in many forms including greeters, choir, praise team, teachers, and short-term missionaries. See our Membership page for more information.
